Bean Pole Forage

ON a cold stormy day in February half term, we d

ecided to keep warm by going on a forage for new growth hazel sticks to be used as bean poles.

First ... find a suitable tree in the far-off hedges...straighter the better

The carry them back across a windy field.... easier said than done!
